There is a Lyme petition at the following address:

The petition will only be up until 2/10/13, and we need 25,000 signatures for the White House to review and respond.

This is the best chance for raising Lyme awareness I have seen, so please spread the word!

Your stories sound very similar to ours! I have started a blog....in the early stages, telling our story. I think it might be of interest for those who participate in your blog. The site is www.lymeinchronicillness.com None of us are autistic, but 2 of my kids have dysgraphia/ dyslexia and processing issues- I believe all brought on by BB/co-infections.

Wow this is great TAmi. Glad I posted about the hallucinations tonight so it brought me here. Im going to link to your blog from mine. It's great what you do, and I'm sure you have many kids and parent out there that really appreciate you teaching them how to communicate with each other.

We take lots of breaks in the classes so don't worry if it's a long day....it'll be informative but also relaxing.

Hi Vanessa,
Well, you do have some company. Myself, my husband and our 2 kids have Lyme; not autism. But my son has adhd and I think my daughter has some add and learning issues. It's made school tough for them. We still can't believe the whole thing, and have no idea where and when this all happened. My symptom's haven't been too bad so I haven't gotten treated yet because I'm busy trying to care of everyone else and hold down a job, because right now, I'm the mail breadwinner.
